June was a great month. I got to hang out with my grandparents for the first week or two, then my cousin came home with us, and I crammed lots of fun into the days with her. We finished off the month by going to my brother's wedding in the Gulf of Florida. It was an awesome time and included a mini family reunion. :)

I cannot explain how much I love that quote. Not just because it is a Taylor Swift quote (if you do not know this I am a dedicated Swiftie.just sayin'.)  I love it just because it speaks to me. Actually,it probably speaks to a lot of girls. But personally it speaks super loud to me. Things like you aren't as smart as her or you aren't as pretty as her go through my head all the time.  I completely agree with Taylor on that it is insulting yourself. I get sad when people insult me. In fact,I get angry. Yet,I find it okay for me to pick myself apart. If I do not like others picking me apart,why should I be okay with it if I do it? I have been made the way I am for a reason. God made me. I am His creation,why should I insult myself? I am taking on the challenge not to pick myself apart and feel bad about myself. Will you?

The main theme of The Cherry Blossom is beauty. We are seeking to find the beauty in life and would like to share that passion with you. We would like to show you
1) the beauty of Christ, what He has done for us, and what He is doing,
2) that YOU are beautiful because you are made in the image of the One who is Beautiful,
3) and that everything that He has made is beautiful.
